Two fighter jets of the Indian Air Force - a Sukhoi Su-30 and a Mirage 2000 - crashed during a training exercise today, officials said on Saturday, and one pilot died. According to the report, one plane crashed in Morena in Madhya Pradesh, the other is may be crashed 100 km away in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. Defense sources said the Sukhoi had two pilots, while the Mirage had one pilot. Both aircraft are used in the front line of the Indian Air Force. Sixteen Army soldiers died and four others were wounded after their vehicle slided down a steep slope close to North Sikkim on Friday. The vehicle was part of a three-vehicle convoy that was driving from Chatten in the morning towards Thangu. Nine people were killed in a collision between a lorry and a car in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. The accident was reported from Anantapuram district in Budagavi village of the state.
