A man from Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore district was taken into custody for allegedly slitting the throat of a fourteen-yr-old girl and pouring acid on her face. It was once alleged that the assailant was a close relative of the girl’s family. The incident came about in Venkatachalam village’s Chemudgunta colony on Monday afternoon. The woman got admitted to a government medical institution and later shifted to Apollo Hospital for comprehensive treatment.
