Crime against woman, accuse arrested

A shocking incident unfolded at Hatigaon, Guwahati, Assam on Thursday. A man was nabbed for allegedly recording video of a woman while bathing. The accused is identified as Semim Akhtar, from Kolkata. Following the incident, the accused is now handed to the Hatigaon Police Station.

ISIS arrested leaders transferred to Uttar Pradesh ATS

An operation led by Special Task Force (STF) against ISIS agency, two top leaders were arrested under the operation in Dhubri, Assam. According to the sources, the identified lSIS leaders are named Harish Farooqui alias Harish Ajmal Farooqui and Anurag Singh alias Rehan. Both were involved in orchestrating and facilitating acts of terror across the country with numerous pending cases link to the two. However, both of them have been transferred to the custody of the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) for further legal proceedings.

Elvish Yadav gets arrested by Police for snake venom

Connected to the snake venom drugs party, Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav got arrested by the police on Sunday. According to the sources, the registered case has been under investigation since last year. After the forensic reports of the samples that were taken from the connected individuals of the drugs party, confirmed the allegations. The FIR was registered by People For Animals (PFA) Organisation against Elvish Yadav for organising the party and supplying snake venom of Cobra and Krait snake species.

Kerala doctor dies by suicide over ‘dowry demand’

A 26-year-old doctor committed suicide in Kerala's Thiruvananthapuram, allegedly after her boyfriend refused to marry her as her family could not meet dowry demands. State Health Minister Veena George has ordered an inquiry into the death of Dr Shahana, who was pursuing a post-graduate course at the Department of Surgery, Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram.
