14 killed, nearly 100 injured in explosion in Bangladesh Capital Dhaka

Explosion in Bangladesh capital Dhaka's Gulistan area left everyone shocked. As per the sources 14 people died and around 100 were found injured , they were immediately shifted to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital. The tragedy occurred around 4 pm on Tuesday. Around 11 fire extinguishers are at the spot and rescuing process are underway. The explosion occurred in a shop selling sanitation equipments on the base floor of the seven-storey building. The shop was situated in a Siddique Bazaar.

Jorhat fire incident into control

A massive fire broke out at Jorhat, Chow Bazaar, Assam, no casualty reported during the outbreak, Police informed. According to sources, 150 shops were destroyed and 25 fire tenders reached the spot and brought the situation under control. The fire is suspected to have started from an electrical short circuit in a shop, which quickly spread to the crowded market. Also the most destroyed shops were grocery and clothing shops, according to the report.

Around seven workers were killed due to suffocation(to die from lack of oxygen) while cleaning an oil tank in a factory in Andhra Pradesh, said a police official on Thursday.
