The Jawaharlal Nehru University administration ordered a probe after graffiti citing "exclusive tendencies" was sprayed on the walls of the university's School of International Studies and on the doors of some faculties. On Thursday, the administration noted that some faculty members sprayed graffiti on the door of the School of International Studies, saying, "Go back to the branch" and other statements. As of Thursday night, it was not known which student group – if any – created the graffiti.
