TMC Leader, Two Aides Murdered In West Bengal Town

A neighborhood Trinamool Congress chief and his two mates have been killed by using some men in a crowded place at Canning, around 50 km from Kolkata, this morning.Swapan Majhi, a member of the Gopalpur Gram Panchayat of the ruling party in West Bengal, was on his way to a rally around 9 am when the killers opened fire and attacked him with knives, police said. His two companions were also shot dead by the killers while escaping. The police said that the investigation is going on to gather detailed information.
