Drugs destroyed in Nagaland worth Rs 44.5 crore

On Thursday, at the Kohima Municipal Council (KMC) dumping site in Meriema, drugs and psychotropic substances valued at over Rs. 44.53 crore were destroyed by the Drug Disposal Committee, which is part of the IGP (CID) Police Headquarters. Among the goods taken by the Narcotics Cell police station were a sizable amount of drugs that had been taken between 2022 and 2023.
