Various battalions of Assam Rifles conducted civic action programmes in the state for the welfare of public. Chieswema Battalion: Chieswema battalion established eight new solar street lights at Marian village, Wozuro sub-division of Wokha district. According to PRO HQ IGAR (N), the solar lights will also augment security during the night. LSU dismayed at unsatisfactory ATM service

Lotha Students’ Union (LSU), Wokha has expressed serious concern over the “unsatisfactory ATM service” within its jurisdiction. In a press release, LSU president, Ashanthung Humtsoe and assistant general secretary, B Mhajan Tsopoe stated that it was unfortunate to notice how many of the ATM booths were either out of service or out of cash. Bobde on Wednesday expressed his dissatisfaction at the absence of senior advocate Dushyant Dave, representing eight farmer unions protesting against the farm laws, from the hearing in connection with the laws last week.
