Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday launched a virtual faculty and said college students from across the country would be eligible for admission.
Delhi Model Virtual School (DMVS) application process started on Wednesday. The school is for classes 9-12.
“Admission to the education platform will be open to students from all over India and will also be organized through professionals for entrance exams like NEET, CUET and JEE along with skill-based training,” Kejriwal said in an online media release Summary.
The Chief Minister said that the country’s first virtual college would prove to be a milestone in the education field.
“There are many young people who cannot go to school because there are problems like the path to college or different obstacles. Many parents don’t train their daughters because they don’t want to send them out.
“We are introducing digital faculty so that they are educated. This college has been stimulated through virtual instruction which was necessary due to the Covid-19 pandemic,” he said.
Kejriwal added, The classes will be online and the recorded lectures will also be uploaded online.
