Hailing from Barak Valley, Laskar has gained national and international recognition for her brand STYLEYA, which blends North-Eastern handwoven fabrics with modern designs. Founded in 2017, STYLEYA has emerged as a leading fashion label, redefining traditional wear by integrating Assam’s rich textile heritage. The brand collaborates with local artisans and women weavers, ensuring both economic empowerment and cultural preservation. With a diverse collection—including Kaftans, Burkhas, Designer Kurtis, Lehengas, and an expanding men’s line—STYLEYA has gained prominence on fashion platforms like East India Fashion Week.
