Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (YMC) recently commemorated its 69th foundation day, highlighting decades of delivering pure motorcycling joy through innovative products. In a significant gesture, India Yamaha Motor (IYM) joined hands with the Smile Foundation, engaging its Blue Streaks riding community in a heartening initiative benefiting over 500 underprivileged children.
The Blue Streaks riders visited schools operated by the NGO across 12 cities, where they interacted with students and distributed essential educational materials such as notebooks, pens, and pencils. Moreover, special sessions were organized to educate the children on fundamental road safety practices, emphasizing pedestrian rules, helmet usage, and understanding traffic signals. This initiative aims to cultivate a sense of road safety awareness among children, fostering a responsible and informed future generation.
During the celebrations, Yamaha’s dealer network across India extended the festivities of Yamaha Day 2024 to customers, inviting them to showrooms for a cake-cutting ceremony as a token of gratitude for their continued support. Dealers also highlighted Yamaha’s legacy and showcased iconic products introduced over the brand’s illustrious 69-year journey.
