On February 25, a robbery was foiled near No. 1 Dhansirikhuti Daifang village under Rowta police station of Udalguri. A man was encountered during the movement.
According to the sources, accused is identified as Kenaram Basumatary. To a inquiry it is claimed that he is suppose to be the wrong man encountered.
