A worker was seriously injured when a bomb exploded while digging a pond in the land. The incident took place in Dinhata’s Vetaguri South Baladanga area. According to local sources, Mozaffar Mia and another worker were digging a pond in a neighbor’s land this morning. At that time a bomb under the ground exploded with a spade.
Among the two, one of the laborers had already finished digging the pond, and the other, Mozaffar Mia, was seriously injured. Locals rescued him with serious injuries and admitted him to Dinhata sub-district hospital. Immediately the police of Dinhata police station was informed.
According to police sources, another fresh bomb was recovered from the scene. The police of Dinhata police station have started the investigation of the whole incident.
