West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee tries her hand at making momos in Darjeeling

On a visit to Darjeeling, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee tried making momos.

In a Facebook post from her legitimate account, Mamata Banerjee said: “Today I made momos during my morning walk in Darjeeling. Happy to share such a unique moment with my people. Darjeeling will always be in my heart and I salute our hard working hill people who make every visit memorable.

However, this is not the first time that the Chief Minister has put his cooking skills to the test. Bandyopadhyay also tried to make momos during the rest of his trip to the hill.

In another post, the Chief Minister talked about what he achieved during his two-day visit to the hills.

“The last two days have been impressive and my heart is very full. I had spent the previous few days interacting with the people of the hill country, understanding their lifestyle and the challenges they faced on a daily basis. I promise you all that GoWB will leave no stone unturned to ensure your welfare,” Banerjee said in her Facebook post.

Mamata Banerjee said she also attended the swearing-in ceremony of the selected participants of the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration Meeting 2022.

“I congratulate everyone and request everyone to definitely work for the people and address their concerns. I also inaugurated a coffee house in Darjeeling — the view from the cafe is breathtaking and every person should visit this place. I am sure you will go back with a smile and many completely satisfied memories! Chief Minister Dr. The Chief Minister also distributed goodies among the local children during his morning walk.
