Vivanta Industries Ltd plans to transform its operations by focusing on Next-Gen Tech Businesses

Ahmedabad-based Vivanta Industries Ltd aims to transform its operations by focusing on next-gen tech businesses. The company is expanding into new verticals such as drone, information technology, AI and robotics, and electric vehicle charging stations. In September 2023, the company entered into an In-principal Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Vivanta Drone Research Centre Tanzania Ltd, acquiring a 50% stake for drone assembly and R&D.

Further In April 2023, the company received a $5 million work order from US-based EVOCNA for establishing an EV charging and manufacturing unit. The company expects to establish the plant in 18-24 months and require software in 6-12 months.

 After establishing the project, the company expects to reach sales worth approximately USD 10 million and above. In February 2023, the company’s Extra-Ordinary General Meeting approved an amendment of the objects clause of the Memorandum of Association, allowing it to venture into multiple businesses including agriculture & animal feed, industrial automation, industrial robotics systems & drone, and charging stations for electrical vehicles.
