Vijay Deverakonda has finally talked about his engagement rumors with Rashmika Mandanna. Recently, the Liger actor was talking to Lifestyle Asia when he clarified that he is neither engaged nor married.
“I am not getting engaged or married in February. It seems the press only wants to marry me every two years. I hear this rumor every year. They are just hanging around waiting to catch me and get me married,” said Vijay.
Recently, the rumored couple’s trip to the Maldives fueled speculation about a possible wedding announcement with an engagement expected in the second week of February. While their dating rumors have also been making headlines for a long time now, a source close to the couple told Hindustan Times that they are not looking forward to being open about their relationship.
“They’re not planning to go public with their romance, or take their relationship to the next level by exchanging rings,” the source said, and then added, “They’re very private people. They haven’t gone public with their romance so far, some hints Left that makes people wonder about their bond. The claim of them going for a big reveal and then getting engaged is fake because it’s different from their personalities.”
The insider also shared that they are not even thinking about getting engaged as they are already living together. “They are living together, happy and satisfied with how their relationship is going, and don’t feel the need to get engaged right now.
