Purbanchal Cement Ltd, manufacturers of Surya Gold Cement and Surya Concretec today announced that Mr. Vedant Agarwal has been named as Managing Director and has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Purbanchal Cement Ltd.The new managing director, Vedant Agarwal, will focus on further developing and expanding Purbanchal Cement Ltd’s identity, Surya Gold Cement and Surya Concrete, synonymous names in the building material industry, to make it the most respected and preferred brand in the market.To integrate its own mission of delivering best quality cement and contributing to the growth and development of infrastructure in Northeast India, the new managing director will continue to represent the best of Purbanchal Cement limited and dedicate towards manufacturing and marketing of quality cement as per BIS standards.
Under the new leadership, Purbanchal Cement Ltd has taken a holistic approach in its business conduct and operations. It is scalling up investment in research and development(R&D) of special usage products like super concretec, Ad- star bags for improvement in product packaging, upgradation of technology and installation of advance ball mill and computerized crusher, upliftment of the quality testing laboratories with more advanced equipments, improving energy efficiency and increase in the share of renewable energy. Also activities like meet and greet events and customer guidance camps are planned to make customers feel in complete control of the home building process. Mr. Vedant Agarwal received a Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical) from West Lafayette, Purdue University (U.S.A). Mr. Agarwal has industry exposure and management experience of ferro alloy industries, including an exposure to digital marketing services and understanding of organizational value and ethics Currently, Purbanchal Cement Ltd production capacity is 40,000 MTPA and upon completion of expansion, integration and utilization, the company’s capacity will grow to 60,000 MTPA.
