A tractor-trolley carrying more than 20 farmers fell into a river in Uttar Pradesh’s Hardoi district this morning – thirteen swam out but the rest are being rescued.
“Those who came here recognized 6 others who were with them, whose skills at least many of them still lack. But they said there were at least two dozen people on board,” said District Magistrate Avinash Kumar, who was organizing the rescue. In the absence of this power, the number of males can exceed 10.
Farmers were returning to their village from a nearby mandi after promoting their cucumber production when a wheel of the tractor ran over the Gara river bridge in the Pali area. Eyewitness Shyam Singh said the tractor took a turn and broke the railing, dragging the trolley and passengers into the water.
The officer said“We are referred to as divers. But we were unable to get the vehicle out after stumbling. Cranes are ready for this,” “Also downstream, we put nets under bridges.”
Apart from the police, a large number of villagers also gathered to bring out the boys.
