On that, Manipur University informed in a notification on Friday that all undergraduate and postgraduate examinations of the university scheduled for September 9 and 10 have been postponed in view of the situation prevailing in the state. The university shall declare the next date of examination, separately.
In addition, all educational institutions in the state of Manipur have been ordered to observe a holiday on September 9 and 10, per the Department of Education-Schools, Manipur. It is also a component of the broader reaction to the current circumstances in the area. The Department of Education-Schools, Manipur, announced in a detailed announcement that all state schools will be closed on September 9 and 10, 2024.
