Tripura Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha has come forward to assist Puja Das, a Class 12 board exam candidate, who lost all her study materials in a devastating house fire in Rajib Colony, Charilam, Sepahijala district. The fire, which engulfed the home of Narayan Das, destroyed essential belongings, including Puja’s books needed for her ongoing History, Bengali, and Political Science exams.
Upon learning about the incident, CM Saha swiftly intervened, directing the Sepahijala District Magistrate to provide immediate relief. In response, the district administration sanctioned ₹40,000 to the family and assured that Puja’s study materials would be restored by tomorrow.
Officials also confirmed that further financial and logistical support will be provided following a detailed assessment. The government’s prompt action underscores its commitment to student welfare and disaster relief.
