Weather permitting, I may conduct an aerial survey to assess the situation further,” he stated.
The Chief Minister revealed that he has been in constant touch with Home Minister Amit Shah, who has assured all necessary assistance. “The condition in Amarpur, Gomati District, is especially concerning. All District Magistrates and Disaster Management teams are working tirelessly,” Dr. Saha added.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Dr. Saha reiterated the government’s commitment to aiding the affected families, stating, “The state government is providing ₹4 lakh as financial assistance to the kin of each deceased.
