The Retina Centre (TRC) is stepping into a new chapter of eye care excellence with the arrival of two distinguished surgeons, Dr. Anamika Nath and Dr. Pranamee Das. Their addition marks a pivotal moment for TRC, amplifying its commitment to world-class eye treatment in Guwahati.
Dr. Anamika Nath, celebrated for her expertise in Vitreo Retina Surgery, brings a wealth of experience, including an MS in Ophthalmology from the Regional Institute of Ophthalmology and a fellowship from ARAVIND Eye Hospital. Her collaboration with Dr. S.U. Ahmed, a trailblazer in VR surgery in North-East India, highlights her pivotal role at TRC. Beyond her clinical duties, Dr. Nath engages in philanthropic work with the Ramakrishna Mission, offering free consultations to those in need on Sundays. Reflecting on her six-month journey, she shared, “Working alongside Dr. Ahmed has been transformative. I am excited to continue learning and contributing.”
Dr. Pranamee Das, a Phaco Surgeon from Assam Medical College, also joins TRC, bringing her skills to eye check-up camps for underserved communities. In her three-month tenure, she has embraced the learning curve at TRC and aims to further her contributions. She advises maintaining a balanced diet, avoiding eye strain, and regular eye check-ups for optimal health.
