Toyota Kirloskar Motor [TKM] announced the launch of the 63rd T-TEP institute at Don Bosco Technical School, Shillong and the first T-TEP institute in the state of Meghalaya, with the support of Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC). The initiative aims to improve students’ skills in rural areas through Toyota Technical Education Program (T-TEP) and enhance their employability.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the 63rd T-TEP institute at Don Bosco Technical School in Shillong, Meghalaya, with support from the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC). The initiative aims to improve students’ skill sets, particularly in rural areas, and strengthen their employability through the Toyota Technical Education Program (T-TEP).
Toyota invests in infrastructure, e-learning, engines, transmissions, practice kits, faculty training, and the “Scholarship Program for Technical Education and Recognition” to empower students. Present at the Inauguration, Mr Vikram Gulati, Country Head & Executive Vice President, Toyota Kirloskar Motor said, “In addition the collaboration with ASDC’s centre Don Bosco Technical School, Shillong will strengthen the talent pool from the grass root level and provide opportunities for youth in the automotive sector with a special focus on rural areas.”
