TNGCL has increased the prices of CNG and PNG starting from November 20

The Tripura Natural Gas Company Limited (TNGCL), following directives from the Union Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, has once again raised the price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), effective from November 20th, in response to increased gas prices and other factors. Additionally, the cost of PNG (domestic pipeline gas) has also been increased. The increase in prices for CNG and Piped Natural Gas (PNG) will impact more than 40,000 household users of PNG in and around Agartala, as well as over 500 commercial and small industrial users throughout the city. TNGCL currently runs several CNG stations, providing CNG to more than 15,000 vehicles daily. The firm announced the updated prices, which went into effect on November 20, in an official announcement. The company stated that the price rise was caused by rising gas procurement costs and other relevant variables.
