Tide India has launched an invoicing solution for SMEs in Assam to enhance regulatory compliance, optimize processes, reduce costs, and increase organizational efficiency. Traditional invoicing is complex for small enterprises, with 50% facing challenges in bookkeeping, invoicing, technology adoption, and upgrading accounting systems.
Assam’s SMEs require more training and lack dedicated IT teams for invoice creation and expense management. Tide’s invoicing solution will enable them to send personalized, GST-compliant invoices directly from its mobile app, allowing SMEs to view paid and pending invoices. Gurjodhpal Singh, CEO, Tide India said “Our invoicing solution takes us one step further in this direction and allows us to streamline processes for SMEs, eliminating the need to use multiple products to manage disparate services.”
Tide, launched in December 2022, has joined over 1 lakh SMEs in Assam, aiming to eliminate delays, human errors, improve cash flow, streamline accounting, and improve inventory management. The platform’s consolidated view of invoice management simplifies tax record keeping. In Assam, 67% of SMEs are marketing firms, agri businesses, grocery stores, and financial services providers, while 19% are IT professionals, actors, lifestyle and beauty sector, designer boutiques, grocery stores, cafes, marketing firms, tutors, and financial service providers.
