The opposition objects CM in the Odisha Legislature

On Wednesday, the opposition BJP and Congress in the Odisha Legislature objected to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik reading aloud his remarks in response to the discussion on the demands of the Home and General Administration department. As Congress Legislative Party leader Narasingha Mishra stood to speak on a privilege notice he served for consideration during the Assembly’s Zero Hour, the matter was brought up. He was, however, prohibited from speaking about the privilege notice since Speaker B K Arukha was looking into it. Speaker Arukha responded to Mishra’s protest that he had been denied permission to speak on the subject by saying that he would certainly allow him, but only after examination.
