TCS-Swissport Deal Renewed for 5 Years to Drive AI and Cloud Innovation

India’s IT services giant Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has extended and expanded its long-standing partnership with Swissport International for another five years, reinforcing its role in driving digital transformation across the aviation services sector.
While financial details of the deal remain undisclosed, the renewed agreement will focus on enhancing digital capabilities, improving operational efficiency, and accelerating technological innovation across Swissport’s global operations.
As part of the expanded collaboration, TCS will support the modernization of Swissport’s technology ecosystem, with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI)-driven services, advanced data platforms, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. The initiative aims to build a more agile and data-driven operational model aligned with Swissport’s long-term growth strategy.
Swissport’s Group Chief Information Officer, Dave Lynch, highlighted the importance of the partnership, stating that TCS has played a crucial role in strengthening the company’s digital backbone. He added that the renewed collaboration would enable faster innovation, improved operational excellence, and scalable growth across its global network.
Echoing this sentiment, Arun Pradeep Surendra Mohan, TCS’s business head for travel, transportation, and hospitality across EMEA and APAC, said the extended engagement would help accelerate co-developed solutions and enhance Swissport’s operations with greater agility, reliability, and future-ready capabilities.
The partnership has already yielded significant results, with Swissport recognizing TCS as its “Innovation Partner of the Year 2025.” The accolade reflects TCS’s contribution to advancing operational intelligence and enabling data-driven decision-making across Swissport’s services worldwide.
Overall, the renewed agreement underscores the growing importance of digital transformation in the aviation services industry, as companies increasingly rely on AI, cloud, and data technologies to stay competitive and efficient in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
