Tata Starbucks’ new store in Assam reaffirms its expansion plans

After opening a store in Guwahati in January 2022, Tata Starbucks Private Limited launched its second store near the Brahmaputra River. The new store is an evidence of the company’s long-term commitment to the Indian market, where it now serves across 263 stores. Sushant Dash, CEO, Tata Starbucks said, “We are pleased with the response that we received in Guwahati earlier this year with the launch of our first store in the state. Now, we are excited to extend our premium Starbucks experience to the banks of Brahmaputra and create some moments of connection and share our passion for coffee.”

Situated at the Mahabahu Brahmaputra River Heritage Centre, Old DC Bungalow, Panbazar, Guwahati, the store offers more ways for customers to enjoy the signature Starbucks experience. The Starbucks experience rests on premium quality coffee, handcrafted beverages, extensive food offerings and passionate partners who truly create the signature Starbucks experience. Customers will be able to select from a range of Starbucks beverages including the all-time favourites Java Chip Frappuccino, Cafe Mocha, Signature Hot Chocolate and Caramel Macchiato. They can also enjoy the spring offerings such Hazelnut Dutch Truffle Frappuccino, Iced Vanilla Poached Pear Hibiscus Tea, Cocoa Cloud Macchiato and Salted Caramel Cold Brew. Starbucks merchandise and free Wi-Fi are also available in the store.

In addition, the company will bring the My Starbucks Rewards loyalty program to the city, which provides members with rewards and personalized benefits.
