Tata Sierra vs competitors

The Tata Sierra has emerged as one of the most talked-about SUV launches of 2025. Reviving a legendary nameplate from the past, Tata Motors has positioned the new Sierra as a premium yet competitively priced offering. Starting at ₹11.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the SUV mixes the classic Sierra design cues with contemporary styling and modern features.

When it comes to dimensions, the Sierra clearly stretches beyond the typical boundaries of the C-segment SUV class. Although it competes directly with models like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Maruti Suzuki Victoris and Skoda Kushaq, its proportions place it closer to larger SUVs such as the Tata Harrier, MG Hector and Mahindra XUV700. Simply put, the Sierra looks and feels bigger than its segment rivals.

Among the five SUVs compared, the Sierra is longer than the Creta, Elevate and Kushaq. It also stands out as the widest and tallest of the group, while offering the longest wheelbase. Its boot capacity of 622 litres is the most generous in the lineup, giving it a clear edge in cargo space.
