Tata Passenger Electric Mobility (TPEM), a subsidiary of Tata Motors, has launched its TATA.ev stores in the prominent auto hubs of Sector 14 & Sohna Road, Gurugram, India, catering exclusively to EV customers. The showrooms showcase a strong commitment to sustainability, with all major materials used being recycled or recyclable, and many certified with sustainability by global green certifiers. The focus is on locally sourced materials, reducing reliance on long-distance, high-emission transportation.
The showroom also serves as a community hub, inviting visitors to purchase Tata EVs and engage in shared moments like coffee from Blue Tokai, catch-up with fellow EV adopters, and attending events listed in the EVOLVE community calendar. The store’s design focuses on technology, integrating digital elements to support visitors without overwhelming them. The screens will provide testimonials from current owners, address concerns and myths about EVs, offer customization options, and provide personalized welcomes for families receiving their EVs. These stores will be open to the public starting January 07, 2024.
Commenting at the inauguration, Shailesh Chandra, MD, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, said, “These showrooms are not just about retailing EVs but they become TATA.ev community centres in Gurugram.”
