Tata Motors’ ‘White Revolution’ initiative empowers over 1600 rural women in Gujarat

Tata Motors, in collaboration with the Ahmedabad District Co-operative Milk Producers Union Limited and the Gujarat Dairy Development Board, has initiated a dairy development initiative in and around Sanand, that has transformed the lives of over 1600 women in rural Gujarat.

The initiative has improved access to education and healthcare facilities, elevated their status within the community, and facilitated socio-economic transformation. The initiative, which involves women from the Bharwar and Koli Patel communities in Sanand, handles the entire dairy farming value chain, from fodder to milk sales.

Through strategic collaborations, relentless support, and a vision for sustainable growth, the initiative continues to be a beacon of hope for rural communities. Tata Motors’ CSR Head, Mr. Vinod Kulkarni, emphasizes that the company’s mission extends beyond project execution, aiming to foster hope and transformation within the communities it serves.
