Tata Motors, a leader in India’s automotive sector, today announced the Altroz Racer, a high-performance variant of its premium hatchback. The Altroz Racer is powered by a 1.2 L Turbo Petrol engine, offering an impressive 120 Ps at 5500 rpm and 170 Nm of torque from 1750 to 4000 rpm. It features a 6-speed manual transmission and a distinctive sporty exhaust note.
This top-tier model includes advanced features like a 360-degree camera, a 26.03 cm infotainment touchscreen, ventilated seats, and six airbags. The Racer is the only hatchback in its class to provide a 6-speed manual gearbox, ensuring enhanced drivability in urban and highway conditions. Available in three variants—R1, R2, and R3—the Altroz Racer comes in Pure Grey, Atomic Orange, and Avenue White.
Tata Motors has also expanded its Altroz lineup with two new variants, XZ LUX and XZ+S LUX, and an upgraded XZ+OS variant, available in petrol, diesel, and CNG powertrains.Pricing for the Altroz Racer starts at INR 9.49 lakh for the R1 variant, going up to INR 10.99 lakh for the R3 variant (ex-showroom, Delhi).
