TATA AIG General Insurance has launched MediCare Select, a next-gen health insurance plan aimed at expanding its retail health portfolio and enhancing access to quality healthcare across India. As part of its growth strategy, the company plans to increase its hospital network from 11,500 to over 14,000 facilities by FY27, reflecting its commitment to broader healthcare accessibility.
“MediCare Select brings together value, versatility, and access, ensuring individuals and families stay covered without compromise,” said Neel Chheda, Chief Underwriting and Data Science Officer at TATA AIG. Key features of the plan include unlimited restorations of sum insured, OPD coverage, maternity benefits, and a variety of riders for customized protection. TATA AIG’s flexible offerings align with the market’s evolving needs, with local agents noting heightened interest in policies that offer tailored protection at competitive premiums.
