Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin on Saturday laid the foundation stones of 20 projects in Nilgiris district at a cost of Rs 34.30 crore.
He also inaugurated 28 completed projects worth Rs 56.20 crore at a function organized at the Government Arts College here.
Stalin also distributed welfare measures worth Rs 28.13 crore among 9,500 beneficiaries.
The Chief Minister also launched a special medical camp for malnourished children under the ‘Sure Nutrition’ scheme at the Doddabetta Panchayat Muthorai Children’s Centre.
The ‘Ensure Nutrition’ project aims to provide special medical care to malnourished children.
Medical camps are being held in all districts for a month.
