Three Bangladeshi females and two Indians were arrested in Tripura's Sepahijala area on Thursday for alleged human trafficking. On Wednesday, three Bangladeshi girls were apprehended at Bhabhanipur and Kalikrishnanagar by the Jatrapura police station. Police noted that the remaining two Indians were apprehended in Kalikrishnanagar on Thursday. The police had spotted a suspicious movement by a lady. Swapna Akhtar, a Dhaka resident, was captured by authorities on Wednesday near the Indo-Bangla border.
