MSDE and MHI sign MoU to facilitate training in engineering trades

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to create a collaborative ecosystem for imparting skill development training in the capital goods sector. The partnership is aimed at facilitating training in several engineering trades through Qualification Packs developed by MHI-related Sector Skill Councils (like Automotive, Infrastructure, Instrumentation and Capital Goods) under the Scheme for Enhancement of Competitiveness in the Capital Goods Sector Phase II. MSDE through National Skill Development Corporation will facilitate linkages between various Sector Skill Councils and industry partners for imparting skilling in engineering trades.…

Tata Motors and Ford India sign MoU with the Govt of Gujarat

Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited (TPEML) and Ford India Private Limited (FIPL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Government of Gujarat for the potential acquisition of FIPL’s Sanand vehicle manufacturing facility including (i) Land & Buildings (ii) Vehicle Manufacturing Plant, Machinery and Equipment and (iii) transfer of all eligible employees of FIPL Sanand’s vehicle manufacturing operations, subject to the signing of definitive agreements and receipt of relevant approvals. Skill India International Centre to be set up at Varanasi

IIE signs MoU with MoRD to promote entrepreneurship

The Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship under the aegis of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ministry of Rural Development to promote entrepreneurship at a local level amongst the rural youth.
