An agreement was reached to hand over operation of the Major Khathing Museum to the Army

A historic agreement was signed between the Indian Army and the Tawang District Administration, giving the Army control of the Major Ralengnao 'Bob' Khathing Museum of Valour. At a ceremony that included senior officials and Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) was signed. The agreement, which gives the Indian Army control over the museum close to the Tawang War Memorial, was signed by Brigadier VS Rajput, Commander of the 190 Mountain Brigade, and Deputy Commissioner of Tawang Kanki Darang.
