The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) recognised INS Shivaji as the Centre of Excellence in the field of Marine Engineering on 22nd March 2022. The recognition certificate was presented by the Honorable Secretary of MSDE IAS Shri Rajesh Aggarwal to the Commanding Officer of INS Shivaji CMDE Arvind Rawal. INS Shivaji houses the Naval College of Engineering which educates and trains Indian Navy and Coast Guard officials.
