Dengue cases rise in Nepal

Dengue outbreak has increased in Hetouda, the headquarters of Bagmati province. As many as 112 people have been infected with the disease in the last 24 hours, and one person has died from the disease in Hetouda sub-metropolitan city. Due to overcrowding in the hospital, dengue patients are facing problems in getting treatment at Hetouda Hospital. The hospital has allocated one bed to treat two patients. West Bengal reports 635 fresh Dengue Cases

According to a report of health department officials, Saturday West Bengal reported 635 new dengue cases. In the worst affected districts Kolkata, North and South 24 Parganas are counted. In total, currently 745 patients are undergoing treatment at the state-run hospital.This season, the death toll from dengue has risen to 16 since the outbreak of the mosquito-borne disease two months ago. On the other hand, as per the bulletin of the health department, the state recorded 314 new Covid-19 cases on Saturday, taking the tally to 21,12,872.It's also added the toll rose to 21,495 with one more fatality.
