The staff at General Hospital (GH) Bomdila saved the life of a young woman in near-fatal condition by effectively managing a ruptured ectopic pregnancy, demonstrating medical expertise and coordinated emergency action. The patient had collapsed veins, a severely low hemoglobin level of 5.2 g/dL, and was in hemorrhagic shock when they arrived at the hospital, making venous access very challenging. Severe winter weather and a lack of Operation Theatre (OT) staff contributed to the already dire circumstances of the high-stakes emergency.
