The depression over the Bay of Bengal is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm on Wednesday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said. After it forms, it may be named Cyclone Mandaus as suggested by the UAE. The cyclone is expected to move from the coast of North Tamil Nadu and Puducherry to the Southwest Bay of Bengal and adjacent areas of South Andhra Pradesh by December 8.
