Curfew

Tuesday saw the imposition of a curfew in Manipur's Imphal East, Imphal West, and Thoubal districts in response to growing worries about law and order. In an order dated September 10, the Imphal East district magistrate revoked a previous curfew easing and imposed a complete curfew starting at 11:00 am. Essential services are excluded, such as power, health care, media coverage, municipal employees, and judicial operations.
