Sweden to give 4th COVID-19 shot to people over 65 and above

Sweden recommended a fourth COVID-19 vaccine dose to people aged 65 and above along with people living in nursing homes or getting home care. The recommendation includes fourth shots for those between 18–64 with moderate to severe immune deficiency, Sweden’s Public Health Agency said. China reports 1,947 new local COVID-19 cases

China reported 1,947 locally transmitted COVID-19 cases, the National Health Commission said on Monday. Delhi records 766 fresh Covid-19 cases

A total of 766 fresh Covid-19 cases were recorded in Delhi out of 56,112 tests conducted during the past 24 hours across the national capital. The number of fresh Covid-19 cases in Delhi recorded yesterday were 756 while the positivity rate was 1.52 per cent. According to the latest Delhi government’s health bulletin, the infection positivity rate stood at 1.37 per cent. The city lost five lives due to the virus infection, taking the cumulative count of such fatalities to 26,086, it said. The number of fresh Covid-19 cases in Delhi dipped to 977 on Friday from 1,104 on Thursday with 56, 444 tests conducted during the past 24 hours across the national capital. According to the latest Delhi government’s health bulletin, the infection positivity rate stood at 1. 73 per cent. The positivity rate was 2.09 per cent. Global Covid caseload tops 400 mn

The global coronavirus caseload has topped 400 million, while the deaths have surged to more than 5.76 million and vaccinations to over 10.09 billion, according to Johns Hopkins University.
