Covid 19: India reports 214 fresh cases in last 24 hours

India recorded 214 new coronavirus infections on Saturday (Jan 7), while the number of active cases rose marginally to 2,509, according to Union Health Ministry data. With this, the total number of COVID-19 cases increase to 4.46 crore (4,46,79,761). No Covid death in Odisha for 16 days

Odisha on Thursday reported 12 new COVID-19 cases at 0.08% test positivity rate, with the tally rising to 12,88,339, the health and family welfare department said. The death toll stood static at 9,126 as no new fatality due to the infection was reported for the 16th consecutive day. Besides, 53 other coronavirus patients have died due to comorbidities so far.
