The 1894 Mirem Batum Lingkang War Memorial was dedicated in Adi Pasi, in the state's Upper Siang district, by Arunachal Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein. The memorial honors the valor of Adi warriors from Pasi Village who used stone barriers and guerilla warfare to protect their lands against a British expedition during the third Anglo-Abor War, which took place between 1893 and 1894.
