Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma visited the flood-hit Barak Valley where a resident braved the floodwaters and greeted him with a 'Gamusa'. The Chief Minister additionally visited the flood-affected areas and heard the grievances of the people in Silchar.
