Suman Kanjilal arrived at the New Alipurduar station today

Suman Kanjilal, the MLA who left the BJP and recently joined the Trinamool, arrived at the New Alipurduar station by Padatik express on Tuesday afternoon. Thousands of Trinamool workers were present at the station premises to welcome Suman Kanjilal.
After getting off the train, Suman Kanjilal said, “I want to work for the people, so this decision is made.” He avoided answering all the questions of the journalists. He said that he will answer all the questions in a press conference at the Trinamool district office in Alipurdua at 3 pm today.

As the reason for leaving the party, he clearly said that “I could not do any work as an opposition legislator for two years. We have an alternative system that was also the development of the area through the hands of the MLA through various schemes of the Central Government. But it was not found even after repeated searches. On the other hand, when you go to Grameganj, people hear that the central government has blocked the central allocation to discipline Raj’s ruling party. As a villager, I could not accept this kind of politics in any way.”

Suman Kanjilal directly avoided the journalist’s question when asked about the party change.
In the press conference on this day, it was notable that there was no hint of Trinamool in his voice. Even when he came from the station to the district office, he did not take any flag. When asked why he avoided the question.
