Star Cement, has organized an Engineer’s Meet in Gangtok with the event theme “Connect, Collaborate & Celebrate”. The Engineers’ Meet was organized at Sinclairs Hotel in Gangtok with the objective of exchanging ideas and bonding among the various engineers that participated in the event.
Mr. Shouvik Chakraborty, AVP-Sales & Marketing, Star Cement gave a presentation to all the engineers and they were briefed with Star Cement’s corporate profile. The engineers were explained with the manufacturing process of the cement company and its quality control.
The role of cement in various types of construction and the different modern construction practices were explained to the engineers present in the summit. Engineers that participated in the summit included representatives from various government departments like Building & Housing Department (PWD), Central Public Works Department (CPWD), and other officials. Commenting on the Engineers’ Meet, Mr.JyotiSwaroop Agarwal, Chief Marketing Officer stated, “The engineer has been, and is, a maker of history. They are the real inspiration behind every great construction and it is our duty to acknowledge their immense contribution and show our respect towards them.”
