Sikkim Manipal University, a NAAC A+ accredited institution with over 28 years of academic history, has launched two undergraduate and five postgraduate programs online. SMU’s online degrees are UGC-entitled and recognized at par with on-campus degrees. The 7 online programs have been launched on http://www.onlinemanipal.com and https://smu.onlinemanipal.com/.
SMU launched new online undergraduate programs, including a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a combination of English, Political Science & Sociology and a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom). The university also launched five postgraduate programs: Master of Arts in English, Political Science, Sociology, Commerce, and Master of Computer Applications. Online degrees offer flexibility, eliminating the need for physical campus commutes and allowing learners to access course material at any time and place.
Recognized as equivalent to on-campus degrees, online degrees are preferred by working professionals, freshers, entrepreneurs, and those seeking to resume education and work. Dr. Dilip Chandra Agarwal, VSM (Vishisht Seva Medal recipient), who is a (Retd.)
