Simple Energy, India’s leading electric vehicle and clean energy start-up has launched its maiden electric 2-wheeler, the Simple ONE, at an attractive starting price of INR 1,45,000 and INR 1,58,000 ex-showroom Bengaluru. It includes a 750W charger and is ready to make a mark on Indian roads.
Simple ONE has registered over 1 lakh pre-bookings in 18 months and plans to facilitate customer deliveries in a phased manner starting with Bangalore. It will also ramp up its retail operations by being present in 40-50 cities with 160-180 retail stores. The Simple ONE is the longest-range E2W in India and is made-in-India with a 214 IP portfolio. It is also the fastest E2W in its segment, sprinting to 0-40 kmph in 2.77 seconds. It also has a thermal management system developed with IIT-Indore, helping mitigate thermal runaways.
